$70 Billion Investment? From Whom?

The Yemeni press has been asking questions about this company in regards to the new wind farm deal signed with the energy ministry Oct 30. So close to the Powered Corp nuclear deal meltdown, I don’t blame them for being skeptical. A cursory Internet search on NAMG reveals nothing (I actually believe that the transliteration is wrong - “i’ve seen it as “manj” and “nimag” elsewhere…it may actually be something like ”MandG”)  - and the journalists were quick to point out that the company is not listed with the British Wind Energy Group. The first article from NewsYemen blatantly compares this NAMG to Powered Corp…saying that they are similar in that they are merely investors with no known expertise in building wind farms. The difference though, is that NAMG says it has a huge amount of dough - and are going to spend it - paying for all feasibility studies themselves.

Personally, I’m not swallowing the 70 billion number - 3 1/2 times Yemen’s GDP seems like a lot to me. I do like some of the projects though. I known that Saudi is planning an extension of their railroads from Jedda to Jizan…I’d love to see it go all the way to Aden - hah, Roweishan trians - that would do a lot for auto fatalities. When it comes down to it though, I’m just too cynical about development projects.

Oh, btw, apparently the Anti-Corruption Authority is looking into this deal as well.

  1. Are you following the series on al-Ahmar’s memoirs in al-Quds al-Arabi?

  2. yeah, I caught a couple of them reprinted in Mareb Press. I’ve been so busy lately, as soon as i get more time i plan to go back and read them through. Good stuff though. Speaking of the Sheikh of Sheikhs, did you see the story yesterday about how Hussein got stopped coming into Sana’a because of the weapons prohibition. Daddy was called, and he told him to go back to Amran. I got a chuckle out of that.

  3. Hello everybody . I have been tracking the progress of Mr Ken Jones for a long time . He is a liar and rogue who goes around offering all kinds of Build Operate and Transfer ( B.O.T) of refinery projects in various different countries. He is an absolute fraudster and has a long trail of people who he owes large amounts of monies too. I am extremely confused how he manages to convince so many people to part with their money. In a nut shell Mr Ken Jones is an absolute scamster and you must stay as far away from this man a possible. The world is in an economic crisis and those of you with any sense will keep what ever money you have left well in your pocket and not in Mr Jones’s. YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED .

  4. Steven - A very close associate has been negotiating with NAMG and has mentioned Ken Jones’ name. I have been trying to run some background check without much success. Would you be able to give me some details of your encounter/findings. My direct email is cjaeger32@gmail.com. Thanks and All the best, C. J.

  5. I have a considerable body of information regarding Ken Jones and his assocates I can be contacted at conspectususa@yahoo.com and would be glad to share it.

    Thanks

  6. Stephen if you read this I would be very appreciative if you would contact me regarding Ken Jones
    thanks

  7. Hi CJ & Johnny ,

Unfortunately i would not want to contact any individual regarding this man as he can become extremely nasty when he wants to be. Trust me when i tell you that he will stop at nothing to seek revenge. My goodwill is to put this information out there for anyone doing business or proposing to do business with him or any of his associates. If i can save them by casting a shadow of a doubt in the decision making process then my work is done. If it sounds to good to be true it isnt . Dont be fooled with all the big figures the man hardly has a pot to piss in , He needs your money to found his very lavish lifestyle. Ive said it once and i’ll say it again , KEEP YOUR MONEY IN YOUR POCKETS AND NOT IN THE POCKETS OF THIS SO CALLED Dr JONES. His a Dr of SCAMS…… STAY AWAY

  8. Steve I can guarantee you have nothing to fear, use an email account set up just for the exchange of information (hotmail or yahoo or whatever)only send information that will not identify you, then bin it when we are done.

I wouldn’t recomment anyone doing any kind of business with Jones or his associates at all. However, information becomes knowledge and knowledge becomes power, power to drop his activities in their tracks before yet more damage is inflicted on innocent parties who are getting caught up in the web of fictions he creates.

He is running on borrowed time I can assure you, he has more than a few very powerful people who have scores to settle with him and they want him found.

I suggest he has more to fear from you than you from him.

    Give it some thought?

  9. Johnny,

I read your comments with interest and dread as I to indirectly have had dealings with NAMG Ken Jones and his associate Darren, which has led me to loose my business.

I would be very interested to hear what info you have as I dont intend to let this man get away with his lies.

I look forward to hearing from you.

    regards

  10. Jay please send me an email @ conspectususa@yahoo.com I would be pleased to have contact with you everything you tell me is confidential.

To all the idiots who send spam to this address take note it will be binned unopened so don’t waste your time or mine.

  11. Johnny, - Thanks for the heads up. Wish I read this some time ago though.
Left you a message on your email.
